MatchRules

Hi Guys,

I have been developing some automations for sometimes and realize something.Sometimes I needed to interrogate components of a page which is already interrogated.When interrogating a new Web page is created, but the previous page stops getting matched.The problem I got is though the MatchRule section of Studio shows that all the rules get matched as the image, VS cant capture the control in ObjectExplorer(not getting ticked).According to my knowledge, if the match rules need more modifications, they should appear in orange color.But I was wondering why it doesn't get matched while all matchrules are green.

Hello Asirichathu,

Are you using IE (Web Adapter) or Chrome (Universal Web Adapter)? We have seen similar issues in the past were the html is invalid and causes similar matching issues where you can see that the match rules are correct (green check mark) but the control is not matched in object explorer. If this is the case, I suggest that you open a Support Request as modifications will be made directly to the .os file.
