Matchrule does not work during automation

Hi all,

during the development of an automation I interrogated a web application and created a matchrule. Even though the matchrule passed the interrogation successfully, the automation get stuck at the point of the step handling the matchrule. The particular step has to perform a click of an Java-based menu item. Does anybody have a tip or advise solving the problem?

When you interrogate the application first time, the match rules will be passed but for next time onwards may or may not pass due to application behavior. So, check if the elements are highlighted for second time, if not then modify the match rules to work for any type of data or instances.
