Is LSA readiness a pre-requisite for LSA
Hi Team
I currently have a CSA and CSSA and want to prep for LSA.
Is a LSA Readiness described in the path for LSA a necessary pre-requisite ?
What are the advantages of completing it (in the event its not essential ?)

Yes it is Mandatory, LSA has three exams now:
1. LSA Readiness
2. LSA Architecture
3. App Build
All three have to be completed for getting certified as LSA.
Apart from the above 3, below are additional prereuisites:

- Customer Service Ready badge
- Pega Platform Ready badge
- Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant (CPDC) certification or Certified Senior Pega Marketing Consultant (CSPMC) certification - in any version. (Note: The CSPMC certification will be retiring on December 31, 2018.)

Why CPDC or CSPMC mandatory? Will they test us in the LSA project build on these? They are different package, why those are made mandatory for LSA?

A Pega CLSA is expected to have a good overall knowledge of the platform capabilities which includes CDPC. This is not tested in the build, however completing the course and associated certification will prove you have good basic knowledge in this subject.
