Lead referrals and widget
Hi,
We have a requirement where a sales-rep receives a lead from a sales-rep colleague. So Sales-Rep A gets a lead from Sales-Colleague B
We need the name of Sales-Colleague B on the lead and track along with the opportunity (measure end-result)
There is a out-of-the box widget for succesfull referrals. But I don't quite get how it works.
What are the pre-requisites to have the referral shown in this widget Sales-Colleague B?
- Lead Created by Sales-Colleague B
- Lead assigned to NOT Sales-Colleague B?
- Territory of lead, does this matter? We only give leads to other territories.

@Pvgerrevink - if referring seller is the Sales Owner and Lead later gets a new Sales Owner, that data should be in Pulse (Activity feed) and also history of the Lead case.

Ok, but if i create a lead, and in the creation keep myself as owner, then change the owner to someone else. Then i should have one open lead in my referral widget? That does not happen..
