Kafka connection Issue
Hello all,
We are working on connecting pega to kafka server using the kafka rule in pega. When I am saving the kafka instance it is throwing the following error:
Error connecting to Kafka. Failed to construct kafka consumer. Could not find a 'KafkaClient' entry in the JAAS configuration. System property 'java.security.auth.login.config' is /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/PERF_XXXX_MNGD_NODE/properties/wsjaas.conf
I have attached the steps we implement to establish this connection. Please have a look and let us if we are still missing something.
Note: we performed same steps in Dev and SIT environments and able to establish connection successfully, But in PERF environment we are seeing this issue and also, I am seeing and command not found" when I ran the kinit command in PERF server.

Are you using different Kafka instances for each env? If yes, try to connect to a working kafka instance from your PERF pega server. This can tell us if it is the server side configuration or not. If not, then you can focus on the pega/WAS side. The fact that it is working in other env tells me that you should focus on identifying the potential env differences.
