Connection to KAFKA in Pega 7.3.0 using AvroDeserialization

Anybody made a connection to Apache Kafka using avro deserialization in Pega 7.3.0?

We are able to make connection normally but avro deserialization fails with a weird exception.

org.apache.kafka.common.KafkaException: io.confluent.kafka.serializers.KafkaAvroDeserializer is not an instance of org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.Deserializer

Please make sure you configure the serializer/deserializer correctly (some screenshots would help confirming that). See a similar exception outside pega context:
