JVM Start up Question
Hi - in our production environment our WAS based jvms come up in approximately 10 minutes. In our last DR exercise the jvms took 2.5 hours to come up; no errors thrown, just extremely slow. the DB, network, middleware and Linux guys all looked and indicated that their systems seemed to be fine (really hard to believe....). My understanding of the jvm start up process for PRPC 7.2.1, as well as any version, is that information is being pulled from the rules database and stored in memory, so my focus in our next DR session should be to get the DB/WAS/Linux guys to dig deep on their systems during the start up. Is there anything else happening during a normal PRPC startup that I should be looking at for slowness?
