JSON file processing
Does Pega Platform 7.2 have capability to parse a JSON file? If so, what is the Service File configuration for parsing?

RESOLVED IN PEGA VERSION 7.2.1
JSON mapping performance has been enhanced with the addition of a native JSON property cache along with the introduction of a DSS to skip all unnecessary intensive checks if the JSON node name is found to be valid. This will be handled through a DSS JSON/useNativeAPI which when set uses adoptJSONObject/adoptJSONArray() as the API for inbound JSON parsing. Please note that if the DSS is set, homogeneous arrays are only supported with valuelist configuration in connectors. Heterogeneous arrays are not supported when DSS is set."

@MarijeSchillern - I am looking for information on how to configure the file listener, Request tab when receiving a JSON file...for Pega platform version 7.2.
I did modify the DSS setting per your instructions, however I do not see a change when running the service file rule. It still appears to be looking for an XML file. Also the other link you sent speaks of a JSON data transform. It does not look like this DT is available in 7.2.
Is it possible to parse a JSON file in 7.2...if so, what are the config values for the Service File rule, Request tab: like Map To Clipboard or use a function?
Also, is the data description - text only or text and binary or binary?
