JMS Integration

Do we need the JNDi instance even if the messaging queue is on the same server as the PRPC?

Not necessarily, you can use local resource references instead (e.g., connect-jms gives you the option), irrespective where the messaging queue.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your response.

But if the messaging queue is on different application server then we definitely need a JNDI instance to connect to it( using JMS listener in my case for Solace)?

My PRPC instance is on Wbesphere as an  EAR deplyeemnt. I am using MQ Listner to retrieve from the messages on IBM messaging queue. Though PRPC recommend to use JMS MDB listners for EAR deplyment still the listner is working properly. 

So wanted to know why such recommedation?
