JMS MDB Listener

I'm pretty new but equally passionate about getting into Integration. I've been assigned a task to present a demo of how JMS MDB Listener works. Is it possible to build a sample application on Personal Edition using WebLogic Server? If not, is there any other way in which I can get hands on experience with JMS MDB Listener? 

Respond to the earliest, as it has been assigned as a priority task.

Hi pawan,

The Personal Edition installation package includes these components:

  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Proprietary information hidden
  • PostgreSQL 9.4.5
  • Apache Tomcat 8.0.28
  • Pega 7 Platform Personal Edition

Can you justify, how you are using Weblogic server. As I am not aware, we can do that.

Tomcat is just a servlet container, not an EJB container nor an application server, so it does not contains any JMS basic support.

Tomcat is just a servlet container, not an EJB container nor an application server, so it does not contains any JMS basic support.

However there are other JMS provider (like OpenJMS from within Tomcat), but not sure we can do that in the personal edition.
