Issue with Rule Resolution to a New Rule in a Different Branch
I have a rule in my branch A which references a new When rule in branch B. Both of the branches are in my ruleset list but when my rule is run, I get the error that the new When rule cannot be found in my ruleset list. This issue is resolved when I copy the new When rule from branch B to my branch A.
Anyone encountered the same and know how to address without copying the rule from the other branch?

@GuyG1719 When you're working with multiple branches in Pega, rules in one branch can't directly see or use rules from another branch, even if both branches are in your ruleset list. This is because Pega treats each branch as isolated to avoid conflicts. So, when a rule in your branch A tries to use a When rule from branch B, it throws an error saying the rule isn't found. That’s why copying the When rule into your own branch A makes it work. To avoid copying, you can either move the shared rule into a common ruleset that both branches can access, or temporarily merge branch B into A. Another option is to use a shared development branch or ruleset for common reusable rules
