Invalid value specified for PhoneNumber. Value doesn't adhere to the Validate: ValidPhoneNumber
I have used edit validate rule "ValidPhoneNumber" for the phone number text input field with UI Control PhoneNumber.
But getting error as "Invalid value specified for PhoneNumber. Value doesn't adhere to the Validate: ValidPhoneNumber".
Same phone number property used in other screen then we are getting "Invalid value specified for PhoneNumber."
How can we restrict the error message just to "Invalid value specified for PhoneNumber" and what could be the root cause for two different versions of messages.

Saving the pega default field value (error message for phone number) to our implementation layer resolved the issue.

The message generally gets displayed via message rules or field value. Check out whether you have customized any of them to display the messages.

Saving the pega default field value (error message for phone number) to our implementation layer resolved the issue.

The above message gets triggered for edit validate rules. The message being displayed comes from a message rule 'PropertyInfo-EditValidate'.
You can override this one in application ruleset and modify the message by removing the second part.
"Invalid value specified for {1}. Value doesn't adhere to the Validate: {2}"
1- Property Name
2- EditValidateName
