Interrogation of website whose match rules keep on changing.
Hello everyone,
I am Interrogating a website in which i am facing problems because the element id of the controls keeps on changing almost every week. I also tried using other match rules like "class", "type" etc... but its not working for all the controls, Also the page is made in dojo so almost every event is hidden.
There are several drop downs control where i need to select inside of list where again i am facing the problem of match rules as element id is changing.
Any suggestion or help would be appreciated. thanks

It's not really clear what you have tried as far as match rules.. when you say you have used class, type, etc... what match rule are you using for these? Have you tried using regex to match to the id's? what is wrong with using the class, type, etc? Are there multiple matched targets or are these values changing every week too? Have you tried Element Index match rule?
Can you please show an example of a control that you're having problems matching with? Provide the HTML of one control where it is changing or different.

Dojo is definitely a little tricky. I really recommend utilizing the Dojo framework in order to work with a lot of these controls on the QuickBook website. You can reference the library by using the global variable 'dijit' with javascript. From there you can do things like,
dijit.byId('element_id').loadDropDown();
