How to Interrogate a web page whose url is changing?
Hi
I am trying to interrogate a web page to use it in an automation. The problem is every time a new web page is being created having the same contents(url is changing). What is the solution to this problem?

Look at your Url match rule for the page. As you can see in the screenshot below you have the ability to individually match the Host, the Path and the Query portion of the Url. Each one can be matched using a Simple match as shown here or a number of other ways, such as Contains, StartsWith, Regex and more. Determine what is changing in the Url and what is not and adjust the default match rule so it will match all the time. A couple of other tricks - change the Port to 0 and it will match all ports, change the Scheme to StartsWith http to match both http and https.

this is how the url pattern is changing .The host and path are changing. Please tell me how I should configure the selected match rule.

I have webpage(ServiceDeskWebPage),in that I need to interrogate textbox(QBEINer_search_text).But this text box is in a form(keywordSearch).
But Every time I interrogate a new Form(keywordSearchn) is being created with different id.And matchrule created by default is FormName Match rule.
How can I resolve this Problem

You need to find another property of the text box that is constant. Perhaps look at the ElementClassMatchRule or the AttributeValueMatchRule (this can use an attribute of the text box like OuterHTML to match specific content inside the OuterHtml). You'll need to determine something unique about each control that you want to match. That isn't something that can get a definite answer on the forum as each situation is unique, however through trial and error, you should be able to match it.
