Integrations compatibility between PEGA 7.1.7 and 8.7

In the section pyCreateScannedDocument there is an integration out of the box to scan documents directly within pega from a physical scanner (Scanner type: FUJITSU fi-6770dj ), this integration is related with the flow action pyCreateScannedDocument and used in the on-premise version on PEGA 7.1.7 We need to confirm whether PEGA 8.x has the same features out of the box and if it is 100% compatible because we're going to migrate the app to PEGA 8.7 but we have to know if the scanner and the OOTB logic will be compatible between the two versions
