Increase max record for processing of SLA agent
Hi,
I want to increase the number of records to be picked by the SLA agent for processing. There used to be few system settings variables in lower versions of Pega to do it. Is this possible in Pega 7.2.0 version?

Hi Mahi,
We have the option to set the Max records in the Agent rule, as below:
Is this what you are looking for?

I don't see any DSS specific to SLA to modify max records for SLA agent, However when SLA agent runs it makes an entry in FTS...Indexer agent queue in 'pr_sys_fts_indexer' table, so that FTSIncrementalindexer agent that runs every 60 secs will process the queue items. To maximize the queue processing for FTS...indexer agent we have below DSS.
Purpose: indexing/distributed/queue/maxrecords
Owning ruleset: Pega-SearchEngine
Default Value: 500
The above DSS may work for you if you have indexing enabled for 'Work'.
Note: Set the value of maxrecords according to your queue size, so that you may not lead to any performance impact.

Hi,
I think this will only affect the number of records picked by FTSIncrementalindexer agent and not ServiceLevelEvents agent.

Hi Mahi,
I see that Madhuri and Habeeb have already replied to your question. Where you able to successfully implement the requirement or are you still have any issues?
Thanks,
Tigran

Hi - Dont know if this reply still useful for you or not but if agent rule belongs to locked ruleset then modify corresponding agent schedule entries to change the behavior of agent.
