inbound data mapping failed in Rest Service using JSON Request due to special character
Hi,
We have exposed Rest Service with accepts JSON Request into Pega. When consumer is passing tab / special characters in the body, Service is throwing mapping error and in tracer it is showing inbound data mapping failed.
How can we escape this in JSON Request coming from other application. We are using Pega 8.6.2.

I think this DSS needs to be set when trying to escape special characters.
Purpose : json/escapeSpecialCharacters Owning Ruleset : Pega-IntSvcs Value : true
Can you please try it once and let me know if the issue is fixed ?
The other option is , instead of using the JSON structure to be mapped by PEGA, try to map the entire JSON in a clipboard property and remove the escape characters in the JSON by the function "removeSpecialChars" (assuming REMOVING the special characters is something you can live with)..
