REST Service - JSON Request

Is there any any built in data type validation performed in mapping JSON Request to Clipboard properties ? As I don't see there is any because when i gave text value in JSON Request it is mapped to Date property in Clipboard (as name of property matches)  this indicates there is no any Data type validation performed in mapping (which we have in Parse rules for an XML).

Can Somebody confirm how to perform this type of validation without custom validations.

Hi Aditya,

The type of mapping you can use as 'Map-JSON' in your request tab of 'Connect-REST' or 'Connect-HTTP'.
