IDAnywhere Integration with PRPC 6.1SP2 application

My application is built on 6.1SP2 and is currently using Siteminder authentication. Siteminder will be decommissioned in Q1 2021. We have to immediately migrate to IDAnywhere authentication. Is IDAnywhere integration possible for a 6.1 application. As the SAML and OpenID standards did not exist when PRPC 6.1 SP2 was released, there is no support for them in the product.  So, can LDAP be used and the application interface with IDAnywhere?

How can we write custom code to make SAML or OpenID authentication methods work?
