How to upgrade cassandra from version 2.x to 3.x

we already use cassandra in Linux and Windows machines as part of Pega 7.3 but when we want to upgrade to 8.6 the cassandra needs to be upgraded to 3.x. Can someone please help to find some documentation or process on doing this in case of both in-place and out of place upgrade.

@PRADYUMNAH Please do follow the below steps

1. Stop the Cassandra services on the decisioning infrastructure landing page

2. Add the below DSS in Pega-Engine ruleset

  1. DSS Name : prconfig/dnode/cassandra_version/default

  2. Value : 3.11.3

3. Restart the servers and verify the cassandra by clicking on the Cassandra node->Diagnostics on the decisioning landing page
