How to switch between tabs in a tabbed layout group?

I have a tabbed layout group section and I want to switch between tabs when click on some buttons which are located in a different section. 

I tried using active when condition but it only work 1 time when the page is loaded. 

Any suggestions?

You may require to refresh the layout group section in addition to active when configuration.
