How to refresh tab in tabbed layout group
We have three layouts which are formed as the tabbed layout group. The data is being set in tab1 should be reflected in tab3, However t it's not happening. I'm looking for a way to Refresh the section on click of tab.
Tried with below options but didn't work.
- "Refresh when active" option on the tab3 layout,
- Defer load and
- Refresh Condition of Dynamic layout.

We are using 7.3 MLP.
"Refresh When Active" is not working for tabbed layout group. Anybody come across the same problem .
"Refresh When Active" is working for Legacy tab group.

Just touching upon the first option (refresh when active). This would only work with legacy tab layout. See this PSC post where the SME commented the differences between tab layout and layout group tab and how refresh when active only works for legacy tab layout.

What Bhuvana said is valid and accurate. But I think since that prior post the modern layout groups have been enhanced to support refresh when active. (At least the option is here now).
If you're on 7.3, and see the option to refresh when active, and it is not working, then please raise an SR and let me know the ID.

Tried This and it worked for me in 7.3.1
- "Refresh when active" option on the tab3 layout,
Approach followed,
created two sections , One for input data and second for readonly
Included both sections inside the Tabbed Group layput with Refresh when active.
Thats all , it worked.
Let us know if you have tried with separate sections and did it work ??
