How to stop processing email, from particular user at email channel rule?

Hello Everyone, 

 

 My application was configured an E-mail Channel, with Intelligent routing based on the Subject and routing to workbaset accordingly.

I need to stop processing a email from partiuclar user " Proprietary information hidden". This was not able to do as the Else condition of Intelligent routing always placing that email to the Else workqueue.

Any idea on how to stop processing the emails.

Hi @MatheswaranRavi: I don't see a option to exclude a email from processing in the Channels and interfaces. You can still achieve this by following ways.

  • Send a automatic reply based on conditions
  • Configure a rule in the mailbox to move it to a different folder so that PEGA won't read the mail
  • Update the service method to add your conditions (from DEV studio) to skip mails. Make it as generic so that it can be used across.
