How to start new (not spin-off) flow and not shown in Chevron view

Hi All,

I have a requirement to start new flows during processing cases. It is not a spin-off flow. For example, users have to complete that flow in order to move to the next stage. Also, the new flows cannot be seen in the chevron (D_CaseStages provides data for chevron view).

What I have tried are:

  • Flow-New method: it is a spin-off flow so users can skip the flows.
  • StartNewFlow activity: it adds new flow to the chevron view

I need to start a flow that is not spin-off and it is not seen in the chevron.

The Pega version is 7.2.1

I appreciate all help you can provide.

Hi,

Thanks for your respond. However, the process cannot be a static flow. During processing cases, if users think they miss something, they can add tasks to the case. You can think about using local action to run startnewflow activity. That is why I can not use sub-process.
