How to save a UI form data created inside an external portal?
Hello everyone. I am unable to save the data entered by an user during runtime. My requirement is to create a new portal which will contain a form with some fields for the end user to fill. I have configured a submit button on that form to save the data into clipboard(pyWorkPage) and create the workobject .
But when I click on submit button the work object created is holding null values for all the properties defined in UI. Please anyone help me with the fix to save the property values to my pyworkpage.
Action set defined onn the button:-
Event -On Click Action-1.Save 2.Create Work

Hi,
You can define parameters to the flow rule and pass the clipboard values to the flow through the parameters.
Set the parameters values on pyWorkPage in pyDefault.
Here the issue is the thread context gets changed when you create a workobject you have to pass the values to the newly generated thread for new work object

Hi Mahesh,
Thanks for you response. Still I could not populate the properties in pyWorkpage. I found the data present in pyDisplayHarness page on the clipboard,which is a different thread(Open Portal).
Can you tell me how to pass the data fro pyDisplayHarness to pyWorkpage

Hi Snehasis,
You can try the solution that mahesh has suggested and you also have an option to use 'create case' smart shape in the flow and then create pydefault DT to map the values to the new work object created.
