How to read a text file with comma seperated values in Open Span?
I'm trying to read comma seperated values from a text file and upload to a desktop application. How can I achieve this in Open Span? Appreciate your guidance.

You can use the Excel connector to open and read a CSV file. The GetCellValue method can be used to extract the value of a specific cell. You can iterate your rows and columns to acquire data row-by-row and pass it to your other application.

How can I read an Excel file row by row without using a LookUpTable? Is it posible just using the Excel connector or must i use a c# script in order to achieve this?

A lookup table is where you might store the results as you read them. If you want to just read a row and grab the values, you wouldn't need to store it in a LookupTable.

Here is how to use a StreamReader and StringUtils to process a csv file.
Add a constructor for a System.IO.StreamReader to your automation.
Now build a simple automation to loop through each line, split on the comma and process the results (fill in what you need to do in the Process step).
