How to read the content of a text file
Hi,
I need to read the full content from a simple text file (.txt) from beginning to end.
Any hints on how to achieve this?
Update: This question refers to Robotics Automation. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi all,
thank you for your answers. I missed mentioning explicitly that this question is related to Pega Robotics.
As a workaround during a PoC I simply created a C# function to read the text from the file and return it.

Hi Alex,
You can try using File Listener data instance to read the file from a folder. In Service-File rule use File at a time processing method to process the file and assign the contents of the file to a text property something similar as attached.

It based on the requirement, if it is one time activity you can create service-file rule and run or you want read on regular basis please configure file listener.

Could you please explain how to call service -file from activity? I don't want to user file listener based on my requirement.
But i could not find a method to pass file path, file name to service file rule otherwise.
