How to propagate data when using a Create Case shape (Pega 8.1.3)?

Pretty simple situation: I'm using a Create Case shape to create a case instance during the course of another case type flow.
Question is: how do I propagate data from the creating case instance to the created case instance?
According to the help (we're using Pega 8.1.3 here) there should be a Source Page Param Name field in the Crerate Case shape parameters (see step ):
But... there is actually no such field here:

I was expecting it to be between the "Data Trasnform" field and the "Property to store ID of case" field.
So... what's going on? Is there a bug here ? Is the help wrong? Am I missing something?
And anyway... how can I pass data from the creating case to the created case?

It looks like the Help document does not provide all of the details. I checked my 8.1.3 system and see the 'Source page parameter name' field appears when selecting 'Create child case(s)' and Create multiple cases using a list.
To copy the data to your new case, you should be able to just include the desired page in your data transform as the source.

OK. Only for child cases and multiple cases using a list.
But... how to identify this "desired page" of yours then if I can't send its name as a parameter?
Of course I can always use "pyWorkPage" as the source page in the Data Trasnform. But that's quite against best practices.
Or I can just use a arbitrary page on the clipboard and use it as is on the Data Transform but again it's against best practices I guess (better than using pyWorkPage but still...)
