How Pega works with MQ bindings transport?
How Pega Connects to MQ Server when "MQ bindings transport (other settings on this page will be ignored)" is checked in MQ Server configuration page in Pega? Does Pega read any configuration file where host, port, channel, user id etc. are stored? Or does Pega get these information from WebSphere Application Server (not MQ Server)?

when you checked the 'MQ Bindings Transport' , connection will be established by taking respective application server host & default MQ port ,you have to make sure about below to make it work.
1. "MQ/java/lib64" will be in your classpath of server.
2. should have defaultqueueManager configured ,you can check that by open the "MQInstalltionDirectory/MQ/msi.ini" file and it will have entry as below
ex: DefaultQueueManager:
Name=TestQMGR
Or you can open MQ Explorer, right click on IBMMQSerer -> properties -> there you can find DefaultQueueManger name.
you can run the strmqm & runmqsc command without passing queue manager to make defualtQueueManager available.
3. should have the default port available for MQ(that you can check on server, I found port is 1420 in my application server)
