We were facing issue with delivery receipt. We had enabled delivery receipt in LA (outbound account) but we are not getting status as delivered in IH. The delivery status column in IH is null.

I came to know that pega has some limitation  on bind as transreceiver.

Please find below explanation from one of the SR in pega.

ROOT CAUSE A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment the outbound submit_sm packet does have the delivery reciept flag set. Pega markeing SMS functionality performs bind_transmitter for outbound and bind_reciever for inbound connections. Delivery reciepts is expected to be fetched from inbox using inbound connection. SMSC on the other hand expects a bind_transciever connection and sends delivery reciepts on the same connection.

I wanted to know if we can override the Bind to be transreceiver in pega?

Please let me know if anyone has any idea on this.
