how to obtain the file size created by the Connect File rule
how do we get the size of the file which is generated from the pega using Connect-File method .

You can try below java snippet to get file size. Please include this in your activity and let me know if it works.
String Path="// path here"; PRFile afile = new PRFile(Path); long len=afile.length(); tools.putParamValue("Output", len);
In above path, for the variable Path, please provide complete path of your file that is generated from connect file rule.
You will have your size returned to a Parameter variable( Here output is a param variable.)

I have used code in the java method , but its giving the value 0.0 always. FilePath has the entire path of the file with filename

Can you confirm whether you have read/write permission to the file path where the file is available? I tried for export service directory(pega path) with the same snippet , it returned the file size in bytes.

Yes have a access , file is created by Pega using connect file just a step before the java method , now I need to get the file size

tools.putParamValue("FileSize", len); // set the length back to FileSize parameter
Hope you are providing the path like below as parameter.
FilePath=/abc/xyz/123.txt
