How to know where a strategy is called from
Hi!
Is it possible to know from where a strategy is being called with NO external input? For example, I have a strategy C with no external input and I use it from different points A and B but I want a different logic to be applied if it is called from A or B without having to separate or duplicate strategy C.

@AbigailC4214 this depends on how your in question is being used. Is it the top level strategy executed in a data flow, or is it executed inside another strategy?
Probably the safest bet would be to add and set a field yourself, that you can then filter on inside your strategy. When you are in control of this field, it also prevents your strategy logic from breaking when the caller changes and any generated "called by" field changes with it.

Setting a variable is not an option in my case because the following strategies do not have any external input, but they still need to know where they are being called from.
For example, let's say I have Strategies A, B, and C. Both A and B use C as a sub-strategy, but C does not receive any external input. However, C needs to know whether it was called by A or by B in order to apply different logic.
I'm thinking of using an activity to modify a Dynamic System Setting and change its value according to the strategy from which I call the activity. But there must be an easier way to do this.
How can I achieve it more efficiently?
