How to implement shading excel requirement in pega 8.3 for export to excel

How to achieve the alternative rows shading for the export to excel functionality in pega 8.3.

we are calling the OOTB activity  pxGenerateExcelFIle to generate the excel.

Client requirement : The download excel should show as shaded rows alternatively as seen in the attached screen shot.

Early response  is  much appreciated.

Achieved the shading in excel by conditional formatting. Please find the attached screen shot's as reference.
