How a file containing JSON structure can be parsed through File listener
Dear All,
We are having a Proposal from Client that we need to Read a File.
The file will be Read through the File Listner.
The File will contain JSON each and every time with a Response Structure .
But the problem statement is how can we parse JSON file onto clipboard as File listener support only 3 parse methods i.e. Parse-XML, Parse-Delimited, Parse-Structured.
Its confirmed that the file which we suppose to process does not contain either of the above provided Parse structure.
Then in this case how we can process this file?
Does any body having idea about what "Skip" do in map-to field in Service-File rule.

Thanks for the reply.. but the information provided at link is.. when information present is at clipboard then we can parse to JSON but my ques is if we need to parse the JSON file through file listener and place information at clipboard.

I believe you are hosting rest service from PRPC as Service-REST and the response json file is being read by the file listener. In this case the file can be read as Binary stream, write an activity with java step with the below code added and call the activity in 'map to key' in File listener, to capture the byte stream of the file and put it in a parameter.

-In next step call Parse structured rule under 'Apply-parse-structured' method from the activity by passing the parameter (that has byte stream) in the 'source property' field.
-In Parse structured rule call 'Parse-Byte-Pos' method and pass the byte offset, length and a target property to show the extracted data on clipboard. (this method will convert the bytes to string and put it on clipboard)
