How to execute edit validate rule only when input field is enabled
How to execute edit validate rule only when input field is enabled.
We have a input field with edit validate in disabled mode on section load. But based on the selections on the screen, the input field would be enabled for user to enter data. We want that edit validate rule to be executed on enabling the field but not when input field is disabled.

Yeah , thnx for the inputs. Called the edit validate from validate rule and worked.

Edit Validate Rule is used more for pattern-masking on properties, hence referenced on property rule itself and is always called when property is updated.
For your use case, have you thought about using a validate rule which is used for validation of property values via conditions, hence this is referenced where needed, usually in a Flow Action rule.
