You can source the Autocomplete with a RD/Data Page which take filters value in Parameters. You should have some defined value to fetch only matching company name, I assume,

If the filer is passed properly, it should fetch you only the required results.

We have achieved this in one of the projects If you are listing it from List Maintainance that makes it very easy you have the option to filter out but if you have a data page then you need to pass the exact filter as param. You can play around with the control there they have the option to group by.

you can use the "Highlight match" and "match start of the string" (Checkboxes) combined with "min search characters" for an autocomplete to populate the search string you have entered to be displayed on the top.
