How to display emoticons on screen based on feedback given

Hi,

How can i create feedback emoticons on the section when user provides feedback via email.

For ex: an email sent to customer asking for feedback like below options

1. Very satisfied

2. Satsfied

3. Not satisfied

now we display the emoticons on section for ex: a very happy smiley emoticon when customer selects very satisfied in the email. how can i achieve this scenario... plz provde detailed steps.
