How to create a unified view of work items in built-on applications?
I have two applications that I need to view work from, with application A being built on application B. Opening and completing a case from application B is part of the overall flow for what we are trying to achieve. Users will be primarily interfacing with application A, but want to be able to view and access those cases that were created from application B in their worklist and work queues.
I know one option to achieve this is to use Interwoven Worklist via Pega Process Fabric Hub, but this is currently not an option. Any suggestions or guidance on how to get work items to show from both applications in Application A?

You may override WorkList RD to get assignments from other applications also. This will let you display assignments from multiple applications. But you will run into issues opening these assignments as correct thread context needs to be set. Therefore it is recommended to go with Interwoven worklist.
