how to create a property of type BLOB in pega
i Have a requirement to hold huge data (may be around 5 pages of content) in a single value property, so i want to create a property of type BLOB. i am using PEGA 7.4.0 version.. please guide me.

There is no datatype as BLOB to create.
When you say 5 pages of content, what exactly do you mean? Please elaborate. Is it the text area property?

i am getting a pdf content in an xml from outside and i am invoking this value to a text property by a service rest rule, i have to save this content in a datatype/reference table. its my requirement.
i want to set this column type as blob in db from pega, as i am using a cloud environment don't have the access to the db. is there any way to update the column from pega.

updated the column type as bytea in table but while saving the record i am getting below (42804) error
column "ABC" is of type bytea but expression is of type character varying

If you do not have a column for the property it would be stored as part of pzpvstream which is of blob type. Now, you can have a Database trigger to get the data from pzpvstream and store it in other column of type blob.
It should serve the purpose but might not be good where there is frequent update.
