How to Change the settings for an alternate stage you added.
Hello All,
I have an alternate stage which is already created and have a settings as it is a "resolve the case" in the case management. Likewise, I have created a new alternative stage and trying to add to my case management, though it is added in alternate stage but i cannot change the settings of it to "Resolve the Case".
So, How can i make it as "Resolve the Case"? Actually the radio button is disabled to change it.

Alternate stage:- Unlike primary stages, which are intended to be run for most – if not all – cases that are defined by a case type, alternate stages allow you to group exception actions or "ad hoc" steps. You cannot skip an alternate stage because your application cannot identify the next stage to enter.

I tried implementing your use-case in Pega 7.3.1 release and was able to configure two alternate stage with "Resolve the case" options. Refer below:- Red line on both alternate stage depicts they are resolution stages. 
I think you're having older Pega product version. Kindly upgrade.
Alternatively, you can call an activity after finishing all the steps of that particular alternate stage to resolve the work-object and configure the status as "Resolve-%". One such activity for reference is"pxForceCaseClose". You can call it in the loop, in case of child cases available.
Hope it gives you the idea to implement similar configuration as per your business requirement.

Actually, i can say that the case type which was already created by some guys, I just saved it to my rule set and have added a new alternate stage to it. I didn't create any new case type here. But it is not allowing me to change as resolve the case. I think there are some restrictions to edit the case management.

I have the scenario that loop the alternate stage.
The loop mean if we reject then it should launch another alternate stage.
It is working as expected but in the life cycle, if we reject second time then it is skipping the primary stages and showing the alternate stage in the end.
How can I show in between stage not at the end?

Hi,
I am able to add multiple alternate stages with resolve stage status in PRPC 7.1.9. You need to remove problem alernate stage and try adding once again.
