How can we add a delegated rules option on the manager portal in pega?
We want the business users to change the calendar holiday dates as per every year calendar so we need to introduce delegate rules option on the manager portal navigation. How to achieve this?
Please refer the screenshot attached (its from a different team that has implemented this same requirement)
(They have added an icon called delegated rules and have kept its visibility as always in the manager portal,we need to do the same for our team.)
From Channel&Interfaces>Click on Manager Portal then the below screenshot will be visible

You do not need to explicitly enable any delegate rules options in the portal. You can open the rule, goto Actions>Delegate then set the Access Group where you want to delegate to. The users assigned to that access group will be able to see that in the Configuration option.
Regarding business calendar, since its a data instance so Pega does not allow you to delegate it.

@SohamM95 we want to add the delegate icon on the portal as calendar is a data instance so it cant be delegated kindly let me know how to configure the above section as i have attached in the screenshot.

The easiest way to do is to save as MainNavigaton navigation rule, which applies to Data-Portal class, in your own ruleset and add it there.

You can open the Calendar Instance and then click on Actions -> "Add to Favorite"
Select Actions > Add to Favorites on the toolbar to delegate a rule or save as a favorite. This is faster and more direct, and does not require knowledge of the object handle. Use the Private Explorer or use My Favorites from your Profile menu to work with links to your favorite rules or to rules delegated to you.
