How to avoid : : In a Model Dialogue on click of submit button it skips mandatory fields and closes model dialogue.
Hi,
In a Model Dialogue there are some mandatory fields,if we miss mandatory fields and clicks on submit button, instead of staying in same model dialogue, its showing a alert "Please correct flagged fields before submitting the form!" with "ok" button, on click of it model dialogue is closing, which shouldn't be.Submit button control which I used is "pxModelButtonSubmit".
Can anyone suggest on this...?

Can you try to Disable Client-Side Validation at the harness level and check if the same issue still comes up?

Also, this might get fixed by unchecking "Enable client side validation" on flow action rule.

HI, I tried the same use case on my Pega 7.4 system. If you skip the "required field" and click on 'submit', an error message will be displayed. If you click on the "ok" button on the error popup, the modal dialog will not go away. This is the correct behavior.
Can you go to UI Gallery for Modal Dialog sample to check the behavior?
You can do a private check out on ootb section "pxUIGallerySampleFA" to add a required "text input" for the UIGallery Modal Dialog testing.

If I use submit button control as "pzModalButton" it was working, but Im using "pxModalButtonSubmit" control, at that time it was not staying in model dialog screen. On click of submit button im calling create work, so its directly invoking create work.

"Enable client side validation" on flow action rule should be checked. Otherwise, it will skip the required field validation.
For the Modal Dialog sample in UI Gallery, with "Enable client side validation" on flow action rule checked, it works ok. Please check it.
