How to close the modal dialogue on click of submit button using the activity or by run script without using the close action present in the action items
Hi All, I have a requirement to run an activity on click of submit button in the modal dialogue. Based on the logic of activity, I need to decide if the modal dialogue should be closed or not on click of submit button. So, I added close action with when rule after run activity on click of summit button. But, in tracer I observed that when condition on close action is evaluated before run activity which is the first action on the button. Hence, the modal window is not getting closed based on the logic present on the first action which is run activity. So, Can anyone help me regarding How to close the modal dialogue on click of submit button using the activity or by run script without using the close action present in the action items? Note : Also, I should not use default submit button present pyModalTemplate section due to some other constraints. Thanks Krishna Chaitanya

Try to use pega.u.d.doModalAction(pega.u.d.submitModalDlgParam,"click");
But the object pega.u.d.submitModalDlgParam will be avilable only once the modal dialog is opened else its value will be null.
