How to automatically log off and redirect url when pxsessiontimer expires
Hi All,
We are trying to implement a session time which if it expires, will automatically log off the user and redirect them to a new URL. We have implemented the pxsessiontimer and it properly shows a warning popup, however we have been unsuccessful in implementing an automatic logoff.
We use the webldap and a custom authentication service. The custom service is for integration with IBM WebSeal.
Any help is appreciated!

I think I got it to work.
I found this article: https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/sso-user-timeout-countdown-and-proper-sso-logoff Which has some addtitional code to add to the session timer. This seems to do the trick. Its not clear if authetication timeout values are utilized with this code.
It appears that for URL redirection we have to customize the web-session-return rule with a meta redirect:
<META http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=https://www.google.com/">

I do have a URL there, however the help indicates that that value is ignored when pegarules timeout is checked. Are there other steps that need to be taken in order for the redurect URL in Auth service to take effect?

I am using 7.1.7 version of pega. If some one can give a detailed procedure to achieve this requirement then it will be very helpful.
