HideApplicationAtRuntime (Web Adapter) "Ghost" icons
I am using Openspan Visual Studio Plugin 1068. I am using
- HideApplicationAtRuntime = True
- StartOnProjectStart = True)
in 3 web adapters.
When the adapters start they are hidden as desired.
When I use the Adapter.Show method they show as desired; however, there are extra "ghost" icons showing in the task bar.
These icons (highlighted in attached image "GhostIconCapture.JPG") did not show when this solution ran in Openspan Visual Studio Plugin 1037.1
Also, I do not have any component with UnMatchOnHidden set.
Is this a bug or is there a setting I can use to not have these showing?

SR-C21394 was opened dealing with the Ghost Icons. Pega Engineering is working on a fix to include in a future release. For now we can use the following.
In your web adapter's Properties, go to the 'Advance configuration' option and click on the ellipses:
In the KeyvalueEditor Form, enter 'IeOverrideArgs' for the Name and '-restart -noframemerging -nohangrecovery {0}' for the Value.

Save changes. The additional icon should no longer appear when calling the Show method for the adapter for IE apps.
