HaveAttachmentSpecificAccess Function modified in Pega 7.
Can someone shed some light on HaveAttachmentSpecificAccess function. It has been modified in pega 7 from pega 6. It is impacting the delete attachments functionality in our application.
We are upgrading form pega 6.1 to pega 7.2.1 .

Please let us know what you are attempting to do using the HaveAttachmentSpecificAccess function and how the newer version is impacting delete attachments functionality.

There is a delete icon which appears on the attachment listview. This is used to delete the attachments a user adds through HistoryAndAttachments harness.
The Trash icon is disabled based on a condition HaveAttachmentDeletePrivileges , this when rule has the HaveAttachmentSpecificAccess function which manages the privilege of the user. This same function is behaving differently in pega 6 and 7. Its is disabled for a user in pega 6 and enabled for the same use case, same user, in pega 7. I have checked the java code of the function, it has been modified.
As its all OOTB code, it would be great if someone can help me understand the difference, or a way to keep the functionality same as in pega 6 i.e. the icon should be disabled.
Note: ours is an upgrade application from 6.1 to 7.2.1

You can modify the control pyAttachmentFeedDescriptor and add the delete icon with when condt. OR
modify the pyWorkAttachmentsFeedElement section and add the delete icon beside the Control icon .
