guardrail score post upgrade

Hi All - Quick question we are upgrading Pega 7.4 with CSFS + custom Apps to Pega 8.6.4 stack.

So usually the guardrail score

1. Would remain same post upgrade ?

2. Decrease because Pega would have added more best practices and increase standards

3. Increase post upgrade ?

Thoughts ?

After upgrading your application guardrail score will not get impacted. Guardrail score will remain same only.

Because the latest guardrail check validation will get applied when you are doing Check-In/Check-Out for existing (or) new rules only.

For the rules which you have locked already in that after upgrade Pega will not introduce any new warnings automatically until unless you are doing Check-In/Check-Out.
