Getting "Query should not contain empty filter condition" validation error on POST /data_views/data_view_id call to retrieve data
I am getting validation error when trying to get a list of records using POST /data_views/data_view_id DX API call using default created data page of type list which refers a RD with no filter condition and the D page have "Allow querying any column" option selected.
Can someone please let me know what is wrong with the filter condition. Attached the request query and response. The data fetch works fine when filter condition is removed or "dataViewParameters" is used.

Hi, The validation error happens because the DX API does not allow an empty filter element in the request. Even if your data page is set to “Allow querying any column,” the filter block must contain at least one valid condition. An empty filter violates the request schema.
Why this occurs:
- The POST /data_views/{data_view_id} endpoint expects that if you include query.filter, it cannot be empty.
- If your Report Definition has no filter condition, you should either:
- Remove the filter section from the request entirely, or
- Use dataViewParameters to pass any required parameters.
