expresion for field should not start with / or contains // validation
Hi All,
There is one field TRN must not start with a / (slash) and end with / (slash)or contain a // (double slash) in it and Pega should display the error as 'TRN can not start with a / or contain //'

You can use edit validate rule on the specific property and build the logic with the java string functions that doesn't start with / or //.

1.You can call an activity on the OnChange event of the property. In that activity you can call other Obj-Validate rule
OR
check the conditions and do a page-set-message
But just check if at submit that message doesnt gets cleared and it lets you submit the screen
2. If that property has to be called just at one place , create your own Edit validate rule
