getGadgetData is not working as expected in 7.2
We are working on Pega Web Mashups in 7.2. I am having issues passing data out of my PRPC gadget.
There seems to be 3 different ways to do data binding when calling getGadgetData as per documentation.
The syntax which I used is pega.web.api.doAction(“PegaGadget”, “getGadgetData”, “.pyID”). Also I have added the Data Field control in my “confirm” harness.
But it is not returning the value. Instead of that it is giving as “Undefined”. Java script function is good. But still getGadgetData is not working as expected. Tried with multiple syntaxes but still same issue.
Anyone have idea about this?

Are you using web mashup with gateway?
Can you also confirm if pyID is present as Data field in your harness (at runtime by viewing page source)?
Also, try specifying the field as "pyWorkPage.pyID".
